The HPA Encourages Everyone to Shop Local This Christmas

As we head into the festive season, the Harrisville Progress Association wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year.

This Christmas, we encourage our community to shop local wherever possible — supporting local businesses, cafés, producers and services. Shopping local keeps money in our town, supports local jobs, and helps Harrisville continue to thrive.

Whether it’s buying a gift locally, enjoying a meal in town, or recommending a local business to friends and family, every small choice makes a big difference.

Harrisville Progress Association Update
A meeting of the Harrisville Progress Association was recently held. Please see the attached document for the full meeting minutes.
Please note there will be no meeting in January. Our February meeting will be the AGM, with all office bearer positions open for nomination.
We encourage all members and interested community members to stay involved.
