Celebrating a Beautiful Night of Love, Music, and Memories!

The Sri Lankan Women's Association of WA extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us for our Mother’s Tribute Karaoke Night on Saturday, 9 May 2026.

The evening was filled with love, soulful melodies, and a wonderful sense of community as we came together to honour our incredible mothers.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the mothers, fathers, children, and grandparents who joined us for the night. It was an absolute pleasure to see multiple generations celebrating a mother’s love together, making the evening truly meaningful.

Our deepest thanks to the wonderful singers, whose beautiful voices filled the night with love and paid a moving tribute to all mothers. You gave our mothers the perfect, soulful gift of music. Thankyou.

We extend our warmest thanks to our wonderful compères, Dulanjalee Wijethilake and Tharindu Weerasinghe, for navigating us through the night with absolute perfection. Your wonderful enthusiasm and effortless flow kept the evening engaging and lively. Thank you so much!

We also want to thank Nagina and Mahesh Herath from Nagi's Ceylon for the exceptional dinner. Your delicious, traditional cooking added a wonderful warmth to our evening, making it feel like a true family gathering. Thank you for your generosity and hard work.

We immensely thank Rohitha Ediriweera from RE Patisseries for his wonderful contributions to our night. Your lovely desserts added a delightful sweetness to the event, and your generous act of supplying the complete sound system was a true gift to our community. We are deeply grateful for your support.

A special thank you to Seth for coordinating the audio-visual system so enthusiastically, ensuring every melody flowed perfectly, and every singer could perform comfortably.

Our special gratitude goes to Ranjith Liyanage for capturing the entire night so beautifully. Through your camera, you have told a lovely story of love, music, and togetherness. Thank you for your time and dedication to our community.

Finally, a big thank you to our dedicated family members and the helpers who assisted us in numerous ways to make the event a great success.
