Student highlight-Chloe in Canada! 🇨🇦 🌎
For Chloe, choosing to study abroad on Vancouver Island has already been one of the most rewarding decisions she’s ever made.
When asked about the highlight of her time in Canada so far, she shares that it’s been “just meeting such kind and welcoming people who are interested in getting to know you and becoming your friends.” And of course, “watching the ice hockey game was definitely a highlight!”
Her host family and school experience? “Really good.” She says, “I love my host family so much... They have honestly made the nerve racking but exciting transition into life in Canada so easy for me.”
When asked if she had any advice for other students Chloe said "Just do it! I know that it’s easier said then done but this truely is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I wake up grateful every day that I decided to have this amazing journey that really does change your life. Trust me I know how scary the thought of it can be like what do you mean I just decided to pack my life up into a suitcase and move to the other side of the world on my own!? But now I can say I have another place to call home that I already know is going to be so hard to leave. I know that it seems like such a daunting thing sometimes, but all of that is worth it just to get here and meet more family and friends and I genuinely wouldn’t trade this experience for anything else in the world! Experiencing teenage life in another country is something very few people get to say they have done in their lifetime so if you dream of it, make it happen I know you won’t regret it!"
