It's Census Night!

Experiencing homelessness, or sleeping rough? Here is your guide to the 2026 Australian Census.

Between the 10th - 16th August, Census Field Staff can help those experiencing homelessness to have their voices recorded.

Homeless Support Workers can also help you fill in a Census form.

Your answers matter; by estimating how many people are experiencing homelessness in Australia, governments and community organisations can determine where support is needed most.

If you have any further questions, give us a call or drop in. 🧡

Story 04 – BayCISS Smart Kidz

💜 25 Years of Community Impact | BayCISS Smart Kidz

Every child deserves the chance to learn, belong and reach their potential.

For many local families, the cost of uniforms, books, camps and excursions can place education just out of reach. That's why Community Bank Highett has proudly contributed more than $257,000 to BayCISS Smart Kidz, helping remove financial barriers so children can participate alongside their classmates.

Education changes lives, and every child deserves the opportunity to feel included.

Thank you for the incredible work you do supporting local families.

When local people choose Community Bank Highett, profits stay local—creating opportunities for organisations like BayCISS to make a lasting difference. Together we've now returned more than $4.2 million to our community.

The more people who choose Community Bank Highett, the more we can invest in stories just like this.

Yesterday marked the start of National NAIDOC Week, an opportunity to recognise and reflect upon First Nations Australians and celebrate the oldest continuous cultures.

This years theme - 50 Years of Deadly - honours the generations that have carried the NAIDOC movement forward. Resting upon the lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation, BayCISS would like to take the opportunity to celebrate the legacy and resilience of these past and future generations.

📍To celebrate NAIDOC Week, Bayside City Council is holding two free events for the local community, with a film screening and a live music performance - visit the Bayside City Council website for further information.
