Are you a parent or carer wanting to better understand the connection between youth gaming and gambling?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Join Meli's FREE workshop to learn how to spot the risks and support young people to make safe, healthy choices online.

In todayโ€™s digital world, the line between gaming and gambling is becoming increasingly blurred. Features like loot boxes can expose young people to gambling-like experiencesโ€”often without us even realising.

In this session, youโ€™ll discover:
โœ… How gaming and gambling overlap
โœ… Warning signs of gambling-related harm
โœ… Practical tips for starting conversations
โœ… Where to find support and advice

Your role matters. Building awareness and confidence can make a real difference in protecting young people.

๐ŸŒŸ Reach for the Light, Your Future is Bright ๐ŸŒŸ

What an incredible day celebrating the launch of our 2026 Live4Life Southern Grampians Crew! ๐Ÿ’š

On the 13th of May, over 200 Year 8 students from across the Southern Grampians came together at Monivae College for a day filled with connection, conversations, teamwork and plenty of fun, all while shining a light on the importance of mental health and looking out for one another.

Led by our amazing 2026 Crew members from Monivae College, The Hamilton and Alexandra College, Hamilton Parklands School and South West TAFE, the day showcased the power of youth voice, leadership and community connection.

This yearโ€™s Crew theme โ€œReach for the Light, Your Future is Brightโ€ reminds us that even during challenging times, there is always support, connection and hope ahead. โ˜€๏ธ

From creative activities and team challenges to karaoke, Pie Face, smoothie bikes and wellbeing spaces, students had the opportunity to connect, learn and start important conversations around mental health in a positive and supportive environment.

A huge thank you to our Crew, schools, Partnership Group members and community organisations who helped make the day such a success. It was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when young people are given the opportunity to lead and a community comes together to support them.

We canโ€™t wait to see the positive impact our Crew continue to create throughout 2026! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š
