"Last Friday afternoon our first Repair Café brought over 300 people through 50 Clyde St — fixing, learning, sharing ideas, digging through Upcycle’s Destash, and grabbing a slice of pizza along the way.

It was a total vibe where you could see people connecting, skills being shared and all kinds of items finding new life.

It’s the Clyde St way: community coming together through art, creativity and sustainable thinking.

Big thanks to everyone who came along, and to those who made it happen — Upcycle Newcastle, , Sparkhaus Studio, Piratti Bakery , The Full Circle Collective , Newcastle Bike Workshops, Jess Hodge Resourceful Livingand , with support from City of Newcastle.

John Ho**er that’s a wrap! The last 6 yrs have been wild! We’ve had floods 🌊, COVID lockdowns 🦠 and above all we’ve built an INCREDIBLE community of making through community art, markets, workshops, and don’t forget the warehouse parties 🤩✨⚡️
