As we come to the end of the year, weโd like to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Glendale Primary School community. โ๏ธโจ
To our students, families, teachers, school staff and volunteers THANK YOU for another wonderful year. Your enthusiasm, support and community spirit are what makes our school such a special place.
Throughout the year, the P&C was proud to run many raffles, Scitech Family Night and our very popular Quiz Night, along with a range of other events.
We started the year with our Welcome Picnic and Colour Run and finishing up with a wonderful Family event, celebrating everything that makes our school community so special.
None of this would have been possible without the amazing volunteers who generously gave their time to help create such meaningful moments and memorable experiences for our students and families ๐
๐ An incredible $142,500 was raised this year๐
Through fundraising, grant writing, uniform shop and canteen sales, the P&C raised $142,500, with $135,000 reinvested directly back into our school community. These funds supported student events and services, contributions towards playground improvements, and health promoting projects making a real and lasting impact for our children.
This achievement would not be possible without our dedicated P&C members, volunteers, the support of the school, and our wider community. Whether it was buying a lunch order, donating time at a sausage sizzle, attending events, supporting fundraisers, sponsoring your child in the Colour Run or joining us on Quiz Night โ every contribution truly made a difference ๐
We would also like to extend a very sincere thank you to our generous sponsors and donors, with special recognition to Ben Barber Spraggon George Realty, Jessica Stojkovski MLA, Chris Morgan Care for Kids School of Early Learning and Mitchell Durham Yoseikan-Ryu Karate in Hamersely, whose ongoing support has helped the P&C deliver so much for our school this year. ๐คWe are incredibly grateful.๐ค
As we close out the year, we wish the very best of luck to our graduating Class of 2025. You are an amazing group of students, and we know you will go on to achieve wonderful things. Your families, friends and everyone at GPS will be cheering you.
Weโre excited to continue raising funds for our children in 2026 and we hope youโll continue to support us. If youโd like to have a say in how the money we raise is spent, please consider joining the P&C in 2026!
Wishing all families a safe and happy holidays! We hope you enjoy your well deserved break.
Daniela, Carla, Kat & Csallie and the Glendale P&C
