🙋 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – LINE MARKING 🙋

Woady Aths is looking for a few helpers to assist with line marking the oval across the Track & Field season!

📌 What's involved:
• Using a line marking machine – training provided, no experience needed
• Lines need doing every 3-4 weeks to stay on top of it
• Shared across a roster of several helpers, so it's not all on one person
• Can be done after school or on weekends – whatever suits you

If you can spare a bit of time to help keep our oval track-ready, send us a message and we'll fill you in!

Congratulations on the 2026 Cross Country Season! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What an incredible season it's been! 🎉 A huge congratulations to all of our award winners this year. Your hard work, determination and sportsmanship have been outstanding. Well done to each and every one of you! 👏

Cross Country Season is done for 2026! Photos and details from our Trophy Night will be shared later this week!

Preparations are now underway for Track & Field Season! Registrations will open next weekend - keep an eye on the page for more info. The season will officially commence on the 9th October.

This week on Friday 11th Sept we will be at the Club Rooms at the Haddon Rec Reserve for Trophy Night at 430pm.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there to celebrate the season and terrific efforts by all who participated and helped each week!

We will have hot dogs and cold drinks, and the presentations of the awards for the season. Please wear club tshirts/singlets for photos!

This week was our final run of the season! It was also our final handicap run. We were in the Haddon Common.

Well done to the following runners who crossed the line first in their age groups:

Join us this Friday at 4:30pm for the final run of the 2026 Cross Country Season!

We are in the Haddon Common.

This is also a Handicap Run - Handicap is all about who can get to the finish line first after a staggered start. Each age group will run together, lined up in handicap order. The stopwatch will start, and runners will set off one by one when they reach their allocated handicap start time.

📍 Location: Haddon Common, enter off Taylors Road
🕟 Time: Friday 4th September, 4:30pm

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent helpers needed for:
• Marshalling around the course
• Running the stopwatches and calling runners away at their handicap times
• Putting out & collecting course cones

We can't believe this is the last run already and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there!

We will be holding Trophy Night on Friday 11th September, 430pm at the club rooms at the Haddon Rec Reserve.

This week was our fourth of five runs in the handicap series. We were in the Smythesdale Gardens.
