A huge thank you to the Queensland State Emergency Service volunteer association for supporting the Gympie SES Group through a grant to purchase three Olight rechargeable torches.
This funding helps equip our volunteers with reliable lighting for emergency responses, making a real difference when we’re out helping our community.
Thank you for your continued support of SES volunteers across Queensland. 💙🧡

Last night's SES training was a great reminder of one of our core values: trust and working together.

Our team tackled a blindfolded obstacle course, relying entirely on communication, teamwork, and trust to navigate each challenge. It wasn't just about completing the course—it was about building the confidence to depend on one another.

These are the skills that strengthen us as a team and help us perform when it matters most.

Another successful Goomeri Pumpkin Festival! 🎃

Our SES mascot Paddy had a fantastic day catching up with our fellow emergency service mascots from QPS, QFD and RFS. Events like these are a great opportunity to connect with the community and showcase the strong partnerships between our emergency services.
Working alongside each other every day, it's wonderful to share the camaraderie, teamwork and friendships that help us serve our communities when they're needed most.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and helped make the day such a success!
