What is Lure Coursing?
Lure Coursing is a dog sport that tests the dogs chasing instinct by having them pursued a mechanical, high-speed lure across an open field.
How it works
The Lure: white plastic bags are tied to continuous nylon string.
The string is threaded around a pulley and driven by a remote controlled motor-operated machine.
What breeds can do Lure Coursing?
Lure coursing is open to all breeds pure-bred or mixed breed, small or large breeds that love to run and chase.
What age should my dog be to do Lure Coursing?
You can start after 12 months of age, however 6 to 12 months can do a short puppy run.
When can we try Lure Coursing?
Weather Permitting every first Wednesday of the month, this Wednesday 4 November
