The The Push-Up Challenge - Australia challenge kicked off last week and as we enter the second week with tired arms together our goal for the challenge is to complete 3307 pushups to honour the 3307 lives lost to su***de in Australia in 2024 . Every life lost matters. Many individuals and communities across Australia have felt the profound impact following a life lost to su***de. Its more important then ever for all of us to prioritise our mental health and to work together to change this statistic for the better. Our headspace teams are extremely grateful to be beneficiaries again this year , everyone’s warmed up and ready to push for better mental health together. Gympie has its very own team Push for purpose together with two staff members participating in the challenge Amy our new youth and community engagement officer & Heidi headspace Gympie Centre manager.
