On Thursday 4th June, Gympie Freemasons participated in Gympie's second "Doing it Tough" event by supplying and cooking a free breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and baked beans for those in our community doing it tough. We continued on and served up pies and sausage rolls for lunch. Those doing it tough had the opportunity to access over 20 government and community support organisations who were in attendance to provide advice on support and assistance available.

Today the Gympie Freemasons in conjunction with Gympie RSL and Gympie Regional Homeless Assistance (Inc) hosted Christmas lunch for the homeless and those doing it tough in our community at the Gympie Freemasons Centre. 70 people sat down to a 3 course lunch of fresh prawns followed by cold chicken ,ham and salad and then pavlova or plum pudding for dessert. Each guest departed with a personal pamper back of goodies.

This morning, Gympie Freemason's held their final coffee morning for 2025 at the Gold Museum Cafe with 24 members, partners and a potential candidate in attendance. A happy and convivial way to close out our masonic year.

On Christmas eve, Gympie Freemasons in conjunction with the Gympie RSL and Gympie Regional Homeless Assistance hosted a Christmas Lunch for those less fortunate in our community. Volunteers treated 81 guests to a 3 course Christmas Dinner with presents for the children.

Today we held the first of our 2024 Sunday coffee mornings at Farmer and Sun cafe. 14 members and partners and 2 potential members enjoyed a morning of friendship and banter.

Today Gympie Freemasons in partnership with Gympie RSL and Gympie Regional Homeless Assistance Inc hosted Christmas Day lunch for the homeless, veterans and disadvantaged in our community. A total of 70 guests were provided with a 3 course lunch by an enthusiastic band of volunteers with presents for the children present. A very satisfying and rewarding way to spend Christmas day for all involved.

Gympie and District Freemasons have continued their support for Gympie Medical Transport by donating a horizontal filing cabinet for use in their office. This follows previous donations of $5000 for office furniture and equipment at their startup in 2021 and $12,000 in 2022 for the maintenance and running costs of one of their vehicles under a 3 year sponsorship.
