SkillCentred is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team in Maryborough.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hospitality, retail or business experience who enjoys supporting others to develop their skills and build pathways into employment.

The role involves:
✅ Leading and supporting small teams of trainees
✅ Providing hands-on hospitality training
✅ Mentoring trainees and helping them transition into work
✅ Working with local community organisations

💰 $38–$43 per hour
📍 Maryborough
📅 Casual, fixed-term contract, commencing late October

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on workplace experience, earn a Certificate I in Hospitality and develop skills to help you prepare for future employment.

✅ Full-time, paid traineeship
✅ 38 hours per week for 20 weeks
✅ Experience in aged care services and local community organisations
✅ Individualised support to help prepare you for future employment

📅 Starting 9 November 2026

Alex and the boys from Skillcentred finish the last bit of garden edging. Unfortunately Alex is leaving today and it might be the last time we see these guys on site, For 3 years they have given us tremendous support building fences, planting trees and bushes, making garden beds, working on our shade shed, painting, lugging rail tracks around. It appears that we won’t be getting help anymore, and we really need that. All the guys doing the hard yards are over 70, we need these young trainees to help carry the load seeing we have heaps more to do. Not a good day. Thanks for a job well done mate, the club appreciates what you achieved
