As a former trainee with us through our SQW Bus-I-Ness on Barambah program, it has been wonderful to watch your journey and see you achieve your Certificate III in Business through TAFE Queensland, as well as being named a finalist for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Trainee of the Year in the Darling Downs South West Queensland Training Awards Regional Finals.

Council would like to congratulate Koby Douglas on achieving his Certificate III in Business through TAFE Queensland.
Completing a qualification takes commitment, dedication and hard work, and Koby should be proud of this achievement and the effort he has put into his studies.
Adding to this success, Koby has also been named a finalist in the Darling Downs South West Queensland Training Awards Regional Finals for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Trainee of the Year – a fantastic recognition of his hard work and potential.
Koby's achievement is a reminder that investing in education, training and personal development can open doors to new opportunities and career pathways. He is setting a great example for other young people in our community who are considering further study, traineeships or employment.
