Community Action Youth Service Gympie

Community Action Youth Service supports at risk and homeless young people from 12-25 yrs with various programs.

The Community Action – Youth Service (formerly Cooloola Youth Service) provides a range of housing and other support services for young people aged 12-25. Our Resource Centre is located at 24 Lawrence Street in Gympie. We have lots of information for young people and if we can’t directly assist, we can refer to someone who can. Resource Centre Business Hours:

9.30am – 4.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays,

Thursdays and Fridays
1.00pm – 4.30pm on Wednesdays

Community Action Youth Service would like to recognize National NAIDOC Week.

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognize the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.
