At our recent community engagement day we were lucky to meet ‘Alan’. We talked about his Book Swap Box that he has outside his home in Summerland Point. I mentioned to him how much I too would love one outside my home & to my surprise he called me to say he had made one for me! I am blown away by his generosity & this is just one small example of how this community works in positive ways! He has provided me a beautiful blank canvas to put my stamp on & I will have it finished & up & running very soon! We will share details of location & all will be welcome to come & take/ swap a book. Thanks again to Alan, I am very excited!

The Lion’s Club Gwandalan invites you to take on a self-guided scavenger hunt through our local streets and our beautiful foreshore. Solve riddles, find hidden objects, and explore Gwandalan in a whole new way 🌿

• Or step it up with a much harder Level 2!

Apologies for the late response from our social engagement day back in March. The afternoon was well attended by members of the community who are interested in seeing some future events planned in our beautiful area. With help from our wonderful friends Lions Club of Gwandalan Inc. who provided their always fantastic sausage sizzle & Central Coast Council who supplied some delicious sweets, we managed to gather lots of ideas on what you would like to see & do in the future. We plan to meet with other local groups in the near future to collaborate our ideas moving forward. Below is the finalised information that we gathered on the day & with this knowledge in hand, keep an eye out for news of our first event!
