We’re excited to bring together past and present Rangers, families, community members, stakeholders and friends from across the broader community to celebrate 25 incredible years of the Banbai Rangers caring for Country! 🌿🖤💛❤️

Come along and celebrate this special milestone with us as we reflect on 25 years of looking after Country, culture and community, and the incredible journey of the Banbai Rangers. 🌿🦅❤️

This celebration is an opportunity to reconnect with those who have been part of our journey, acknowledge the work that has been done over the years, and celebrate the people and partnerships that continue to support caring for Country. 🙌🏾🌏

We travelled to Canberra for the First Nations – H5 Bird Flu Workshop! 🦅

On the way, we stopped at Mount Panorama and did a lap of the iconic track 🏁 before heading to Wildbark for the workshop. Two of our rangers even got the chance to hold a snake! 🐍😄

The workshop brought together First Nations representatives and organisations to share knowledge and discuss the arrival of H5 Bird Flu, what it means for our wildlife and Country, and how we can help support future responses.

We were grateful for the opportunity to present and share our perspective, and a big thank you to Wildlife Health Australia for inviting and supporting us to attend. 🙏

A great day of learning, networking, and representing our team. 💚🖤💛❤️

Guyra Local Aboriginal Land Council is seeking applications from motivated Aboriginal people for two Ranger positions: one Male Ranger position and one Female Ranger position.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on Country, develop practical land management skills, and contribute to the protection and management of natural and cultural values within the community.
