We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Annabelle Chauncy OAM, Co-Founder and CEO of School for Life Foundation, will be joining us as our special guest speaker at The Gathering on Saturday 19th September.
Annabelle’s story is one of courage, purpose and the power of saying “why not?”
Raised on a sheep and cattle farm in rural NSW, Annabelle travelled to East Africa as a young woman and what began as a three-month volunteering experience at just 21 years old became a lifelong mission.
Today, she leads School for Life Foundation, an organisation transforming lives through education and opportunity across East Africa. School for Life supports more than 4,500 students and works with communities to create pathways out of poverty — far beyond simply building schools.
Annabelle is an inspiring leader, entrepreneur, mother and changemaker, and her work has been recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia and numerous awards for leadership and social impact.
But we think the best part of Annabelle’s story is the why behind it all — her belief that every person deserves the opportunity to build a better future.
