The Upper Lachlan Wood Guild has been extremely fortunate to receive a grant from the Biala Wind Farm. We have been able to purchase an engraving machine using this grant money. In the future we will be able to make custom made items for us and the community using this machine. We are currently learning how to use it to the best if it's abilities. Attached are photos of some of the bread boards that have been produced by the Guild so far. 🩷

The Guild had a visit from members of the Camden Men's Shed this morning. It was a great opportunity to share ideas and chat about all things to do with wood! Thanks for coming!

The Upper Lachlan Wood Guild greatly appreciated receiving a grant from the Cullerin Range Wind Farm Community Fund to replace the head in our thicknesser machine. It is a vital tool in our shed and gets used a lot! Many thanks.

Thanks to a grant from the Cullerin Range Wind Farm Community Grant, we were able to replace the drum on our thicknesser machine. This machine gets lots of use, so the money to pay for the replacement drum is greatly apappreciated 👏 !

On Saturday 5th April, the official opening of the Jerrawa Railway sign took place. It was great to see some of the locals turn up with their picnic tables, chairs and lunch and make a day of it. Well done.

Thanks to all who were involved in this project. Thanks to one of our Upper Lachlan counsellors, Simon Pierce for saying a few words in recognition of the opening.

Well done to everyone and to the wonderful people of Jerrawa and surrounds for showing your support. 🥳🎊🎉

Work on the Jerrawa railway sign continues. It's been a long process with much dedication from some of the Wood Guild members. Friday saw the installation of the framework for the sign to be put in! Not long to go now. Thank you to all those guild members who helped out and the community members who came along to lend a hand. Many hands make light work and your help is greatly appreciated.
