Tomorrow, the Royal Australian Air Force will be conducting flyovers as part of ANZAC Day

This Friday our aircraft will be conducting flypasts in different locations around the country to mark Anzac Day.

Not long now until the Arthur Butler Aviation Museum ABAM, Tooraweenah event this weekend!

Come along to our Fly to Tooraweenah event THIS WEEKEND!
$35 entry for pilots which includes a bacon & egg roll plus a coffee.
Breakfast starts at 8am on Saturday.
$10 for a bacon & egg roll and $5 available for community members.
Mid-morning to lunchtime Saturday would be the ideal time for community members to come and see the action.
Dinner is available at the Mountain View Hotel (check their page for Community BBQ Menu) OR at the Aerodrome for $15 for a steak & pasta salad, coleslaw. Transport is available to the Mountain View Hotel is needed, contact Michael on 0425 252435.

What a great turn out for our open day as part of the Weeks of Speed Gunnedah!
Flying is fun for everyone and we had plenty of members and visitors from Gunnedah, Tamworth and Quirindi come out to chat all things aviation and enjoy the smooth air for the scenic flights, pylon racing and navigation events.

Thanks to all our helpers for making it a wonderful day and supplying some amazing sweet treats!
Our club captain Sam did a great job of organising the competitions, cooking the bbq, judging the navigation challenge and tolerating the scoring challenges from the participants🤣

Not long now until we conduct a flyover of Gunnedah for the Weeks of Speed Gunnedah opening! Look up at 11am to see us and mark the 23rd of March in your diaries for our club open day✈️

The Whitehaven Weeks of Speed Festival starts today!

Enjoy our Festival Street Parade on Conadilly Street at 10am.
At 11am the Hon. John Anderson AC, former Deputy Prime Minister of Australia will officially open Whitehaven Weeks of Speed at the Woolworth car park at the Show 'n Shine.
Also look out for the Gunnedah Aero Club Fly-over at around 11.00am!
