As part of the 2026 NAIDOC Festival – Giirr Dhawun-da Garay Guwaaldanha (Speaking Truth on Country), Red Chief Local Aboriginal Land Council warmly invites our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders (50 years and over) to join us for a very special FREE Elders Luncheon.

This event is our way of recognising and celebrating the wisdom, knowledge, leadership and lifelong contributions our Elders continue to make to our families, culture and community.

Red Chief Local Aboriginal Land Council is proud to invite schools, community groups, families and individuals to take part in the 3rd Annual Guuma-li "Gather" Corroboree Competition as part of the 2026 NAIDOC Festival – Giirr Dhawun-da Garay Guwaaldanha (Speaking Truth on Country).

This year's Corroboree celebrates 50 Years of NAIDOC through dance, culture, storytelling and community.

🌿 OPEN TO EVERYONE!

From children through to adults, everyone is encouraged to enter. Whether you're representing a school, community group, family, dance troupe or performing as an individual, we'd love to see you on stage.

✨ Your Challenge
Choose one of the official National NAIDOC themes from the past 50 years and bring it to life through your performance. Tell a story, celebrate culture, honour our history and inspire our future through dance, music and creativity.
