Today dedicated landowners from Gundy to Walcha took time away from their families and farms to travel to NSW parliament to meet with NSW Liberal Leader Kellie Sloane and Nats Leader Gurmesh Singh MP to not only show the politicians that real people live beneath the lines Labor has drawn on a desktop map, but to discuss the real costs of renewables. The environmental destruction and the financial disaster unfolding as a result of Labor’s rushed rollout. We are an incredibly united group and will fight with everything we’ve got to force Labor to listen to the communities they’re trying to bulldoze through.

Labor finally acknowledging and recognising what a bunch of farmers have been preaching about for months! It’s been obvious to everyone but Labor that the current level of mega spending at the State and Federal levels is reckless. Rushing and pushing through renewable projects at extreme costs and budget blowouts for the sake of it has to stop!

Finance Minister Katy Gallagher has admitted the Albanese government's net zero spending is "not sustainable" due to mounting pressure on the federal budget.

This is absolutely terrifying for every land owner in NSW. Penny Sharpe wants MORE power, she wants to have the power to prioritise the renewable projects she chooses. That means she wants to be able to force land owners and communities to have renewable projects, in all their forms, built regardless of any opposition or valid concerns. We said in 6 months we’d be like VIC, seems 6 weeks is more likely. We HAVE to fight Sharpe and Minns with everything we’ve got!

Why won’t you meet with us Chris Minns? Is it because you’re too busy working on enacting a law that is going to allow you to access PRIVATE PROPERTY anywhere you want in NSW for your reckless renewables rollout? Give it 6 months and we will be spending our days barricading our gates like they are in VIC. If there’s nothing to hide, take the meeting like every other party is.

So she’s willing to protect some things, just not the environment. Penny Sharpe MLC out of parliament for a week for failing to produce documents AGAIN relating to allegations of sexual assault by a Labor general secretary who happens to be a close personal friend of Chris Minns. What are you hiding Penny?

The Minns government has been dealt a severe blow after its most senior upper house member was suspended from parliament for seven days for failing to produce documents relating to a decade-old allegation of sexual harassment against the former NSW Labor general secretary Jamie Clements which he denied.

In an extraordinary development on Tuesday, Penny Sharpe, the minister for energy and Labor’s leader in the upper house, was removed from the chamber by the Usher of the Black Rod after being banned from the parliament for a week.
