We spent Thursday at Gundagai Highschool speaking with students who have been studying WWI in History this year. Well done to the extremely well behaved students, who were a pleasure to speak with.

Two of our members recently spent time with our mates from NZ riding this country. It's a worthwhile program for any of the youth looking for something different.

Today, Gundagai saw the unveiling of the new memorial commemorating the Battle of Coral-Balmoral and Richard Norden VC. ๐ŸŽ–๏ธ

The town certainly put on the weather for a beautiful and fitting commemorative service held in Carberry Park. The new bronze sculpture is truly spectacular, set within an informative and respectful memorial space.

We were honoured to have our troopers attend alongside over 2,000 spectators, including veterans, families, defence personnel, and community members. It was a privilege to share this solemn moment with the Governor-General and two of her predecessors. ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in making this day so special, especially our local Gundagai RSL Sub-Branch! ๐Ÿ‘
