Griffith Junior Concert Band

Griffith Junior Concert Band GJCB was formed by Mr Garry Bell with students from Griffith High Schools and then Primary School Students.

GJCB was initially one and then two concert bands formed from students from schools in Griffith NSW. Initially students from Griffith High School and then Wade High School. Once established a second junior band was formed with students from Griffith Primary Schools. Members of these bands have formed lifelong friendships, some have gone on to become professional musicians, teachers etc and some ha

ve never picked up an instrument again. Members were afforded the opportunities to attend band camps and workshiops eisteddfods and other events.
