✨ Today’s the day! ✨
As we celebrate 70 years of GG, we're throwing it back to our 65th year, a milestone marked by the challenges of COVID. We were fortunate to hold our Club Competition before lockdowns began once again.
Like so many others, our physie community faced unexpected obstacles, adapted in ways we never imagined and found new ways to stay connected. Through it all, the spirit of GG remained strong.
Now, we stand here celebrating 70 years of friendship, resilience and community, continuing the work that Isabel started all those years ago.
Here's to everyone who has been part of our story, past and present. Tonight, we celebrate!

We're throwing it back to some unforgettable BJP Physie milestones, including performing at the 1992 Centenary celebrations and the 125th anniversary celebrations.
What an honour it has been for GG to not only celebrate our own history, but to be part of the wider BJP Physie story. The opportunity to perform and mark these special occasions alongside the broader physie community is something we are incredibly proud of.
Here's to the memories we've made, the traditions we've shared and the celebrations still to come.

✨ 2 days to go ✨
As we count down to celebrating 70 years of GG, we're reflecting on some remarkable milestones in our club's history.
In 1989, GG celebrated its first member through to Senior Grand, Shelley. She returned in 1990 to win the Open Senior 19–20 section, before becoming our club's very first Challenger in 1991.
It would be another 28 years before GG would again celebrate an Open Senior winner, with Rachael winning the 19–20 section in 2018. It's a reminder that while success may not always come quickly, dedication, resilience and club spirit continue to shape our story.
Here's to the women who paved the way and the generations who continue to make GG proud.

Her passion, vision and dedication laid the foundation for generations of members to experience the joy of physie, build lifelong friendships and create memories that span decades.
This Saturday, we celebrate not only 70 years of our club, but the incredible legacy she began.

Throwing it back to 1988 with two of the many beautiful teams Isabel brought together over the years.
Teams was always Isabel’s favourite competition of the year, and it showed through the dedication, preparation and pride she poured into every team. Her passion for creating strong, polished and successful teams became a defining part of GG Physie’s history, with years of incredible achievements and success at the highest level.

Beyond the results, Isabel created teams that built confidence, friendships and memories that have lasted generations ✨
