Our volunteer role of the week this week is for the Chip Packet Project Melbourne. This great initiative operates out of the Rosanna Fire Station Community House and involves fusing recycled chip packets together and other materials to create blankets and carry pouches. Check out their website and page for more information. If you want to be involved in something that makes a real difference, then this is the role for you. Currently seeking volunteers for their Tuesday group.

Our volunteer role of the week is for the BNLLEN L2P Program. (BNLLEN is the Banyule Nillumbik Local Learning & Employment Network ) One of the many initiatives they run is the Learner Driver Mentor program, helping disadvantaged young people (aged 16-21) accrue the mandatory hours required to obtain a probationary driver's licence.
