149 Army Cadet Unit - Springfield 149ACU is an Australian Army Cadet Unit located in Greenbank area, parading since mid 2018.

149ACU - Springfield commenced parading just prior to the June School holidays in 2018, and has members from a range of surrounding suburbs. The unit parades Monday evenings during school terms, and aims for one unit field activity each term and as well as an additional in barracks weekends in terms 1 and 3, to prepare new recruit intakes for the field activities. 149ACU has supported Forest Lake

RSL with Anzac Day and Remembrance Day activities since 2019. Forest Lake RSL have been the kind sponsor of the unit since its opening in 2018.
