Green Valley Languages and Arts School is a not-for-profit organisation that has been teaching the Hindi language from K-12 and Indian music and dance to students for 30 years. We have 12 teachers, 5 of whom are Department of Education qualified, and all of whom are accredited with the NSW Federation of Community Languages Schools. As a community language school, we operate under the strict guidel
ines of the Department of Education and Training and are registered with the Department of Fair Trading. Green Valley Languages and Arts School has been a pillar in the local Fiji-Indian community in the Western Sydney region for high community education standards for over 30 years. During this time, we have been steadily growing in both the number of enrolled students per year and the quality of education we are able to provide these students with. Our School does not only teach language, music and dance to students – it helps to instill ethical values, and positive morals and teaches life skills about how to be productive and valued members of society. The values and morals that these students gain help them to become proactive and engaged citizens who give back to their local community as adults.
