Grantham District Community Inc Meeting monthly, but more importantly, family fun nights bi-monthly.

Located in Grantham and apart of Queensland's 'Salad Bowl', we're all about our Community connecting and getting to know your neighbour without the need for a natural disaster.

Good morning, our next Grantham District Community meeting will be postponed from Tuesday night 11th(census night) to the following Sunday 16th at 2 pm. Meeting will be at the top park shelter ( Grantham Community Parklands) near playground.
On the agenda are discussions for placement of our future shed , and in the interim possibly a shipping container with all plans and leasing etc in conjunction with council approval.

Endings and new beginnings!
Hello!!
Can you believe that after 100 years , almost to the month We welcome a new Singh to the community.
In May 1926 the Singh family opened the Grantham store at the western end of the main drag, and now in 2026 the Barton family have passed the baton of Grantham Fuels ownership to Ash and Sheetal, who have entrusted the running if the site to Singh at the eastern end of the main drag, how wonderfully circular the world is.
I hope that you take the time to show our new residents how welcome ,friendly and happy our little town is, and that everyone remembers how lucky we are to have an independent servo in town.
Supporting our small businesses in town keep us all on the map❣️

Lunch and Christmas festivities discussions at The Floating Cafe Grantham . We're incredibly lucky to have the cafe right on our doorstep, Tab and the girls are always very supportive of our community group and the support of Floats is appreciated by all of us. Supporting our small businesses keeps locals employed and town on the map.

Afternoon all, after the success of our bingo night some ideas have been floated for our next community get together evening. We'd like to host a "POTLUCK DINNER & GAMES" once again this should be a night with some laughs and a chance to meet others from the community. If you're interested please like the post on any of the platforms you see it on , there will be an announcement on the outcome next weekend, I've included some definitions so you know how it works.
Please forward reasonable ideas that you might like to include 😀😀

What a night!!!
Massive thanks to all of you who came along and hopefully enjoyed the bingo evening. We always have a blast , lots of laughs, good natured laughter, some banter and family fun. Thanks to Cathy(Bert), Allen, Bel, Garry, Greg, Dave, Kathy & family, Michelle &Julie Kunde, without our helpers we couldn't possibly have these nights. Special thanks to Sweet Treats and Takeaway Gatton for the goodies for supper , we are so grateful for your support ❣️
