Dear Friends of Grange Beach and Tennyson,
Olivia Logozzo is currently completing an investigation for Stage 2 Outdoor Education focusing on the environmental impacts of vegetation loss at Tennyson Dunes. As part of her research, she has created a short survey to gather community opinions and perspectives from people familiar with the area.
Survey: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/jxPwhczhzN

Any participation would be greatly appreciated and would greatly support her research.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

CONGRATULATIONS to Aria Bolkus - Labor for Colton and Wilkins -Labor for Lee.
Friends of Grange Beach and Tennyson fully support the Labor proposal to safeguard our beaches from trucks, tractors and heavy machinery by delivering sand to West Beach via barge/dredge.

We have worked for over four years now with other groups to research, evaluate, consult, lobby and inform our local politicians and the community on the best practice in sand management that will not ruin the amenities of 17 kilometres of our prime beach environments.

We want to thank the many, many people who have played a part in contributing to a successful outcome where the government has listened to the communities and the science.

I'd also like to acknowledge Ramona๐ŸŒนwho first threw the ball. Friends of Grange Beach and Tennyson and many others are really the sum of their parts. Thank you๐Ÿ™

Friends of Grange Beach and Tennyson have worked with a number of other coastal, resident and business groups to research the best international and national practices in sand management. WE ARE SO PLEASED THAT THE MALINAUSKAS GOVERNMENT LISTENED NOT ONLY TO COMMUNITIES BUT ALSO THE SCIENCE
THE $190 MILLION DOLLARS TO DELIVER SAND TO WEST BEACH BY BARGE IS A WIN FOR ALL OF OUR BEACHES, BEACH USERS, BUSINESSES AND TAX PAYERS.
It will get tractors, trucks and excavators off our beaches ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
When you vote, VOTE 1 FOR THOSE WHO CARE FOR ALL OUR BEACHES, not those who want to degrage 17 km of sensational beach assets for one beach where it their pipeline proposal has little chance of working.

It's good to hear another perspective. There were many competing agendas and a growing body of information regarding what was actually happening with the bloom, so a very difficult place from which to make decisions. We still don't know all there is to know about what exactly was in the make up of that bloom and at what time and what impacts it might still have.

I have just watched a Greens election ad that questions the algal bloom as if it's the state government's fault
I find the content misleading and inappropriate
I would really like to see what their response would have been
Everything is easy in hindsight and when you're not actually in charge
Something such as the algal bloom has been totally unprecedented anywhere else in Australia on this scale.
There will always be criticism of how something is handled no matter who's involved.
And I definitely don't have confidence that the greens would have done much better
As a business that has been seriously affected we continue to work with the Departments and authorities and the seafood industry to get the best outcomes we can for everybody.

If you love our beaches of Grange and Tennyson DON'T VOTE FOR THESE TWO CANDIDATES.
BOTH Sutton Liberal for Colton and Fardone - Liberal for Lee don't care about the beach goers of Grange or Tennyson and will happily subject our beaches to heavy equipment, trucks and tractors for the next 20 years for a pipeline that won't work at West Beach either.
A pipeline only works in the interests of those who have financial investments in its construction and operation, not the people who use and love the beach or the beach and dune environment.

FAIR GO??? WE DON'T THINK SO!
These two Fair Go?? candidates for Lee and Colton seem quite happy to subject Grange Beach and Tennyson to trucks, tractors and heavy machinery for the next 20 years and ruin our beautiful beach amenities for residents and beach goers by supporting a pipeline proposal from North Haven to West Beach. The pipeline will take more than 4 years to construct and won't provide enough sand for West Beach let alone Henley South or Henley Beach. So whose interests are they working for? IT'S CERTAINLY NOT IN THE INTERESTS OF THE RESIDENTS OR BEACH USERS OF LEE OR COLTON AND IT'S CERTAINLY NOT A FAIR GO FOR OUR BEACH ENVIRONMENTS.

The last sunset of summer 26.
The sun finally makes an appearance after a day of no sun and constant rain.
It couldn't have been a more beautiful finale.
