Central Coast Working Equitation Working Equitation is a discipline that is non discriminative to riders or horses. It is available to all riders from all back grounds and all breeds.

Working Equitation is a sport originating from Portugal that was formed to simulate the versatility of a horse that can do dressage, obstacles with quality and obstacles at speed. Traditionally the sport included cattle work but the cattle phase does not form part of any competition points and is only a team event if it proceeds. Due to animal welfair issues it is unlikely that cattle work will be

done by CCWE. The objectives are to display calmness with energetic movements when requested by the rider and to display control, suppleness, collection and submission without force. Please proceed to our web page for rules. www.centralcoastworkingequitation.org.au
