Another perfect morning for our Annual Breakfast Fly-In ✈️☕️

There’s nothing quite like the sound of aircraft flying in to join us for brekkie. From vintage beauties to modern flyers, it was such a treat to see the line-up on the strip.

Big thanks to all the pilots who made the trip – you’re what makes mornings like this so special. And of course, to the Goondiwindi & District Vehicle Restorers Association for rolling in with your classics once again – the perfect pairing of wings and wheels!

Add in country hospitality, barista coffee and a hearty breakfast, and it really was a morning to remember.

The McIntyre Aero club in conjunction with the Goondiwindi Car Restorers club is holding their annual wings and wheels fly in and breakfast on Sunday 7th September at the Goondiwindi Airport (YGDI). We are expecting a wide range of aircraft and motor vehicles to be on display. Breakfast starts at 8am and includes real coffee.

The fly in coincides with Gourmet in Gundy weekend, a celebration of the food, wine and agricultural products produced in the region. The Gourmet, at a beautiful location on the banks of the McIntyre River features live music and food stalls, a family magician and a celebrity chef doing cooking demonstrations.

Why not hone those aviation skills by taking a trip out to Goondiwindi for the day. Maybe you can include us in one of your training navs and enjoy breakfast and meet some fellow aviators along the way. Our club members are happy to run you into the Gourmet event and bring you back out after if you would like to check it out.
