STOP let me reintroduce myself! Just need to set the record straight (with love)!
It’s come to my attention (thanks to a few friendly messages and some chats on the street 😅) that I’ve been mistaken lately that I still work with our local council or the Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce.
While I’ve proudly worked with both before and learned so much from those experiences, these days I’m flying solo and on a whole new mission.
Now it’s just me, my laptop, and about 47 open browser tabs trying to make regional childcare reform actually happen, amoung other things.
To give a bit of context, I run a small business called Bright Light Insight, and that’s what keeps the lights on (literally and figuratively).
My consultancy was built to help small businesses, community groups, and not-for-profits find their voice, secure funding, and develop clear strategies to grow and make an impact.
One of my recent projects was helping Freedom To Move get off the ground, a company led by an incredibly passionate local woman who saw a need in her community and decided to act. She purchased her own wheelchair-accessible van to help people in our region stay connected and get where they need to go. That’s just one example of the kind of work I do. I love to help those who help others!
🔥 The Future Care Project is where my heart and purpose collide - an unfunded (for now!) community movement tackling the systemic gaps that make accessing childcare so hard for regional families. I’m on a mission to build stronger, smarter, locally designed solutions that work for real people in real regional communities. But to be clear, no one pays me to do this.
Both run on caffeine and stubborn optimism.
It’s not always glamorous, I can be very slow to reply to messages I know! But it’s real. And it matters.
If you believe regional communties deserve better, I’d love your support. Whether that’s partnership, funding, collaboration or just an idea, every bit helps fuel the mission. 🙌
Because while Bright Light Insight pays the bills…
The Future Care Project is what keeps me up at night, in the best way possible (that and my three adorable, sleep-averse children who seem to think 5 a.m. is the perfect time for life chats).
If you can please share this post, cheers ✌️
