📌Our first meeting if the new year is today, Tuesday 10/2/26 at 5:30pm, at the RSL room (Goondiwindi Golf Club grounds) 🇦🇺
We also invite those who wish to become a member of the RSL to come along!

The RSL Goondiwindi Sub Branch falls under the Western District sub branches of Queensland Returned & services League (RSL) organisations.

With 30+ current members, the RSL Goondiwindi’s main roles are assisting the needs of its members, ex-serving members and any currently serving members of the Australian Defence Force and their families. RSL Goondiwindi has veteran members from every service, from the Navy, Army through to the Air Force.

Goondiwindi RSL is also responsible for the organisation and conducting of Commemorative Services such as Anzac Day, Remembrance Day and Vietnam Veteran/Long Tan day, to name a few.
Goondiwindi RSL also lends a hand with community projects and conducts local fundraising to provide support where possible. RSL Goondiwindi members are an important part of the Goondiwindi Community.

New members are always welcome!

The RSL Goondiwindi sub branch meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Goondiwindi Golf Club (RSL room) at 5.30 pm (1730 hrs).

🎄 A Merry Christmas from The Goondiwindi RSL Sub Branch! 🎁

The Christmas party was a great night and wonderful food, thanks so much to the team at the Royal Hotel Goondiwindi and also to the RSL committee for organizing the event 🍲 🎄📸

The final meeting for the year was held prior and we look forward to a brilliant year next year!

🎄 A reminder for all our Goondiwindi RSL sub branch members about the final meeting for 2025 and the Christmas party this evening at the Royal Hotel Goondiwindi. Meeting starts at 1730, with the Christmas festivities commencing at 1830.

On 24/11/25 members of the Goondiwindi RSL sub branch helped with the new headstone for Able Seaman Frank William Holden.

Frank served as a nurse in the Royal Australian Navy.

This headstone ensures he will always be identified, with dignity to the service he provided for protecting Australia.

Well done team!

Photos from today’s Remebrance day service 🇦🇺

We had a great turnout of veterans, children, families and community today.

Special thanks to the Cadets for their sharp drills, the school choir for their absolutely beautiful performance of Hallelujah, Wayne Pratt Photography for his brilliant photos each time we have an event and the many representatives who laid wreaths during the ceremony.

It was an absolutely beautiful day to remember those who gave all.
