What a lovely morning we had today with the kindy children from the Goombungee Little Folks group. They came to visit us to learn how to make scones and they did a fantastic job. Their scones looked great and the children all agreed they tasted pretty good too. Thank you Miss Kylie and Miss Kerrilee for bringing the children to visit us at QCWA, it was a lot of fun.

We had a lovely morning today with a visit from the friendly folk from the Downs Wanderers Caravan Club. They all enjoyed their Devonshire Tea and chat so much they've decided to return on one of our regular scone days. We look forward to welcoming them back 😃

We had a great time today at Goombungee QCWA with our State of Origin themed Devonshire Tea morning. Locals and visitors alike joined in on the festivities with several customers winning free scones. Of course there was a lot more maroon than blue... but as usual there were two who dared to be different! 🤪

What a great evening celebrating our local Girl Guides Mums. We had the pleasure of attending the local girl guide unit meeting and providing scones with jam and cream; we helped the girls put the jam and cream on. Then the girls served them to their mums (or significant female adult). Everyone had a good time, lots of conversation, plenty of yummy scones and sandwiches and it was great to collaborate with our local Girl Guides.
