🍭🍬 CHRISTMAS EVE LOLLY DROP 🍬🍭

We are back for another year of spreading the joy, after yet another terrible few weeks of fires and tragedy across this period we are hoping to bring the spark of joy back to our community.

We are spicing things up this year be sure to have water pistols or some form of water to fight back the naughty elves on the back of the trucks! 💦💦

🌟Today we honoured the 30 years of service of Brendan (Becky) Beck 🌟

Becky has given his all to the Goomalling Fire Brigade, he’s always one of the first to respond whether it’s 1pm or 1am - a true credit to his character and commitment to this Brigade and the greater Goomalling community.

We also awarded Becky with life membership because he has now given a good portion of his life to fighting fires and saving the lives of those that face emergency.

He’s a staple and the backbone of the brigade and we are lucky and proud to have him on our trucks in the face of an emergency. 🚒

Thank you for your service Becky, here’s to many more years and a lot more debriefs 🍻

Be advised we will be initiating a CONTROLLED BURN near the car park south of Goomalling on the Northam-Pithara Road (just before the meckering turn-off)
Don’t be alarmed if you see smoke out that way we are just taking measures to prepare for summer.

What an amazing turn out we had on Saturday for our fundraiser!
We raised a whopping $1110 to support our small brigade and it wouldn’t of been possible without our amazing community.
Thank you to the Village Grocer Goomalling for hosting and to The Goomalling Tavern for donating a generous meal voucher.

What a well deserved award for a great man in our district.
Macca is the calm in the chaos on scene of an accident, always willing to help our younger members that aren’t sure of much and shield them from the harsh scenes we attend at times.
This award could not of gone to a more deserving bloke.

The year 2/3 class at sacred heart have been discussing humble people in our community who are “famous” but don’t want any fame..

We were lucky enough to be thought of by a couple of gorgeous souls within this year group and we thank them oh so much for the care they show 🤍
But what would be a farming community without a mention of the farmers along with us fires hey.. can’t half tell where one of these little ones grew up 🧐

We don’t do this ‘job’ for fame or praise but because community is often all we have out here so we fight to protect it… and enjoy a good catch up when its all out 🍻

Thank you Sacred Heart Catholic School Goomalling for sharing these with us and we hope we can see your students real soon 🚒
