🎉 Thank You for Your Support! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who dropped a token into our jar during Grill'd Local Matters at Grill'd Coolangatta throughout May.

Thanks to your support, we are thrilled to have been selected as the May Local Matters Winner! 🏆

The funds received will help us continue supporting our clubs, members and programs across the region, ensuring we can keep making a positive impact in our community.

We would also like to thank the team at for providing local community groups with opportunities like this and for their ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots organisations.

To everyone who voted for us, shared our posts, encouraged friends and family to participate, or simply stopped by for a burger and a token – thank you. Your support means a great deal to us. ❤️💛

✨ Youth of the Month Nominee Spotlight: Jasmine Dorries [Tallebudgera SLSC] & Rhys Hampshire [Rainbow Bay SLSC] ✨

• Jasmine was nominated for her efforts with patrols serving as the Vice Club Captain. This sees her assisting the Club Captain in supporting patrol operations and having patrolled every season since 2015. She is also an active member of the club's IRB racing team.

• Rhys was nominated for his ongoing contribution to the club. Having progressed through the full Nipper program and now serving as the Junior Club Captain, he claimed the gold in the U15 Sprints at the PDB Youth Champs and was the club's sole competitor at State.

A huge shoutout to Jasmine & Rhys for their contribution to their clubs and community — your efforts don’t go unnoticed 👏

Our volunteers are constantly learning news skills to ensure they are ready for any situation 🩺🩹

Well done to this group on successfully obtaining their First Aid award this past week.

Not only do these lifesaving skills keep beachgoers safe, but they are often also used by our members in their community or workplace ⭐

✨ Youth of the Month Nominee Spotlight: Fletcher Bruhn [Tugun SLSC] & Eloise Moloney [Pacific SLSC] ✨

• Fletcher was nominated for his work in the Nipper & Youth space consistently volunteering for water safety duties each Sunday with a tube, board or in the IRB and beginning his coaching career with the club's younger nippers.

• Eloise was nominated for her sunny disposition - always seen around the club with a smile on her face. She attends training consistently and is always willing to lend a hand with the younger members, when she isn't competing herself and always leading by example.

A huge shoutout to Fletcher & Eloise for their contribution to their clubs and community — your efforts don’t go unnoticed 👏
