We will accomplish this by providing fellow Asian law students with a range of social and networking opportunities to comfortably acclimate to the Bond Australian culture. We are also proud of our ‘open to all' culture that aims to encourage other students of different ethnic backgrounds and academic pursuits to attend and benefit from our events and learn more about the many diverse Asian culture
s we represent. The ALSS committee endeavours to represent the social and academic interests of Asian students to the Faculty of Law and regularly pursue collaboration with the LSA, as well as the other cultural student associations to provide programs, events and experiences to the best of our ability. Our committee is made up of intelligent, caring and dedicated individuals that not only seek to promote Asian culture, but also encourage opportunities for law students new to Bond University to meet new friends and build lasting friendships during the course of their study. We encourage students to contact us for any concerns or suggestions and we enthusiastically welcome any feedback. Some of our planned events include:
- Law centred academic workshops and seminars to maximize study efficiency and grade results.
- Social events for both Asian and non-Asian students to benefit and learn from diverse Asian cultures.
- Career seminars to assist law students with the challenges of pursuing employment upon completion of their degree. The 2023-2024 committee:
