Thank you to our volunteers! We held our Tuesday BBQ again today, despite the threat of bad weather. It was so great to see the skatepark community get involved and help set up the gazebo brought by Hayley. It’s always good to be prepared!

We had a wonderful turnout, and everyone went home grateful and satisfied. Thank you so much to everyone who brought sweets, desserts, bread, juices, and yummy dishes. You are truly appreciated.

Finally, a big thank you to Thaitanic Nerang, Earth Market, and Allure Realty for partnering with us. God bless us all!

We are incredibly blessed to welcome our newest supporter, Thaitanic Nerang. The owner generously brought out several trays of food to support our ever-growing community, adding a wonderful variety of delicious dishes to what we serve.

A massive thank you to our tireless volunteers who show up every Tuesday to cook savory meals and prepare sweet treats for kids and adults alike. Our hearts are filled with joy and deep appreciation for everyone who makes this possible.

God bless you all! ❤️

Attention please! STOLEN BBQ

We’re asking our community to please keep an eye out for a BBQ belonging to 12 Baskets that was stolen sometime between approximately 6:00 PM on 22 September and 5:00 AM on 23 September.

Our BBQ trailer was used at an event at Nerang Skate Park on 22 September and was returned to our office premises at approximately 6:00 PM that evening. The trailer was then parked on the office premises overnight.

Unfortunately, during the night, the BBQ was stolen from inside the BBQ trailer while it was parked at our office premises.

This isn’t just a BBQ to us. ❤️

It is an important part of our community outreach and is regularly used by 12 Baskets to prepare meals and help feed families and people in need. We sincerely hope it can be located and returned so we can continue using it to serve our community.

If you saw anything suspicious during this time, have seen the BBQ pictured here, or have any information that may help us locate it, please contact us directly.

Please also share this post so we can reach as many people in the local community as possible.

We would be incredibly grateful to have it returned - no questions asked.

Thank you for looking out for 12 Baskets and the people we serve.

The Rotary Club Hope Island has done it again! Through another incredible fundraising effort, 12 Baskets Outreach was blessed to be one of the recipients. We’re so grateful for their continued generosity, compassion, and heart for supporting our local community.

Of course, our amazing volunteers got to enjoy some good food and a BBQ together too!

A huge thank you to Rotary Club of Hope Island, our volunteers, and everyone who continues to support 12 Baskets. Your generosity goes further than you know. ❤️
