Wild born gorilla Little Lotus, is caged at very top of Pata shopping mall zoo, in Bangkok, Thailand.Two orang-utan mama's with babies and two chimpanzees are caged there as well. These intelligent and highly sociable great apes all live in separate cages on concrete floors with no sunlight and no stimulation. Our campaign objective is to respectfully request and persuade the owner of Pata Zoo to

let us find 'his' primates new homes. We believe a global united voice will help convince him that cruel, outdated zoos like Pata Zoo are simply sad places to visit. Conservation is now at the forefront with providing natural environments and breeding programs. The world has changed. Zoos like Pata Zoo are no longer acceptable. We need a global voice. No one has yet been able to convince the owner of Pata to relinquish Bua Noi to a more natural enclosure and yet the people of the world still cry out for her release.

Our petition, started originally by Sinjira Apaitan, and continued on by me, has reached over 300 000 signatures!

There is currently no ‘new’ news on whether or not the owner of Pata shopping mall zoo will reconsider relocating Bua Noi and ALL the other primates and animals from his inhumane roof top ‘zoo’ in lieu of Thailand’s most recent earthquake.

I’m not sure if Cher is still trying to rescue our beloved Bua Noi either…😞
