Good morning Coomera parkrun.

What a day! Absolute cracker.
The tiny breeze we had this morning made the 142 of you eager to come and join the world famous Coomera parkrun and hoped it wasn't going to be too hot. Yet, once you all got going, that was it, perspiration and heat crept in. However, you all battled the heat (and it's not even summer yet), the hills and the exhaustion thereafter. Well worth it, wouldn't you say?
Still, what else would you rather being doing? Sitting down the beach, tanning up, nice cool drink, listening to the rhythm of the crashing waves. Pfff! As if. Boooooooring!

So, as mentioned, 142 of you joined us this morning. We had 7 new people joining us for the first time at Coomera parkrun. Welcome to you all, the newbies and parkrun tourists. We hope you had a good time. Thank you for joining us.

I heard the bell ring a few times. Not as many as the 13 of you that managed a PB! Wow. Awesome effort.

Huge effort from our fantastic volunteers, Matt L, Dave H, Sally N, Matt and Jade R, Julie C, Jonathan G, Dean W, Ruby M. Lost without you guys. Thank you so very much.

More spots available over the coming weeks. Come on, send us a message, put your name down, volunteer. It's very easy and good fun.

Photos are up, results are up. Like, Tag and share.

Have a fantastic weekend and we shall see you, your family and friends, all next week.

Last weekend we celebrated many things, but one milestone that deserves special recognition is the 15th Anniversary of MultiSport Gold (MSG).

Founded by Alli Cooke, a nationally certified triathlon coach and one of Queensland's most respected coaches, MSG has built much more than a training squad. It has created a very close-knit community and family. We are incredibly thrilled that Alli and so many of her MSG team call Coomera parkrun home.

MSG members are always among the first to volunteer, whether individually or through "MSG Takes Over" days. Last weekend was a perfect example, with the team filling the majority of our volunteer roles. Beyond parkrun, you'll find MSG supporting running and triathlon events across the region, throughout the year.

Happy 15th Anniversary to MultiSport Gold. Thank you for everything you do for running, triathlon, and our local community. Here's to the next 15 years and more!

As if the delicious post-parkrun cake wasn't enough, MSG also generously gifted Coomera parkrun a "PB and Milestone Bell". We can't wait to hear it ringing loudly and proudly as Coomera parkrunners achieve their goals!!!

Thank you MultiSport Gold, for your friendship, support, and generosity. It truly means the world to us.
