“Never Forgotten” Vol 2 is here!

We’re thrilled to share that "Never Forgotten: Honouring Our Veterans" by Vietnam veteran Dave Morgan is now available.

This incredible book is a compelling collection of short, easy-to-read stories capturing the lived experiences of Australia’s veterans across all three Defence Force services, conflicts and generations.

Dave is generously donating all proceeds to Legacy Australia to support families of veterans. Every book sold helps us provide financial aid, emotional support, and social activities for the Legacy beneficiaries we care for.

A huge thank you to Nerang RSL for their generous Community Donation! 💙

Our Legatee Pike proudly attended the cheque presentation on behalf of Gold Coast Legacy to receive this wonderful support.

Thanks to this donation, we have:
💻 Replaced our boardroom computer after more than 8 years of service.
📱 Purchased a new iPad to support our financial assistance application process.

These technology upgrades will help us reduce paper usage, become more environmentally friendly, improve efficiency, and ultimately provide better support to the families we serve.

🌿 Exciting changes are happening at Gold Coast Legacy! 🇦🇺

We've officially started transforming our back garden into a beautiful Memorial Garden to honour our veterans.

What was once an area overgrown with weeds has now been cleared, fresh new turf has been laid, and we've even planted a new lime tree 🍋🌱. This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to watch the garden grow into a peaceful place for remembrance, reflection, and connection.

Stay tuned as we continue bringing this special project to life!
