On Friday 14/08/26, we said farewell to Calie as she was officially booted from Rovers!

We started the night with the official Rover booting ceremony, celebrating Calie’s time with Rovers and wishing her all the best for what comes next.

After the ceremony, we travelled to Estar Korakoe, where we sang, danced and enjoyed a great night together.

Congratulations, Callie, and thank you for all the memories! We wish you all the best on your next adventure.

On the 30th of May, we said farewell to Emilee as she was officially booted from Rovers at Karingal Scout Campsite.

The weekend was packed with adventure, from hatchet throwing and archery to a bushwalk, before everyone gathered for a memorable sunset ceremony to celebrate Emilee’s Scouting journey and the adventures still to come.

Thank you, Emilee, for everything you’ve brought to Rovers. While your time as a Rover has come to an end, you’ll always be part of the Rover family.

What a way to spend a weeknight! 🧗‍♂️

Our Unit headed up to Kangaroo Point for a night of abseiling, pushing ourselves, cheering each other on, and enjoying the Brisbane city views from the cliffs.

Huge thanks to Josh for organising the night, and to Mitch and Jess for running the ropes and making it such a great experience. We’re already keen for the next adventure!

Five Rivers Rover Unit had a great time over the weekend attending Gold Coast Reigon’s Feral camp. There was lots of amazing activities including hikes, raft racing, obstacle courses, pioneering, open forums and as always lots of really beneficial networking and fellowship.

Five Rivers Rovers started 2026 of strong with an advanced first aid night. After smashing through some theory; learning about mass casualty situations and triaging patients we got practical doing a mass casualty scenario of a plane crash. We had everything from punctured lungs to suspected spinal injuries to broken arms, legs and shoulders even learnt about how serious a concussion combined with the symptoms of shock can be. Glad to report the only long term side effects are educated and empowered young adults as well as a constant thirst for knowledge. .australia

Members of Five Rivers Rover unit have been busy this year with training. Our amazing unit chair Emilee completed her scouting essentials and her SP vertical-Abseiling. Josh completed his scouting essentials, scouting adventure, vertical rescue course and his basic water rescue course. We also had brock receive his wood badge. BRAVO to all the members of Five Rivers that have been working hard this year to expand their horizons. .australia
