A practical discussion on applying minimal effective dose principles within the realities of high-performance sport - and how doing less can sometimes achieve more 👊🚣‍♂️

In highly aerobic sports such as rowing, more work isn't always better. The challenge is identifying the minimum amount of strength training required to drive meaningful adaptation without compromising the demands of concurrent training.

This November, Jan explores the concept of the Minimal Effective Dose for strength development in rowing, drawing on examples from the Australian Men's National Training Centre.

Learn:
👉How to identify what truly drives adaptation
👉How to remove unnecessary weight-room volume
👉How to design strength and conditioning programs that are efficient, targeted, and directly transferable to performance.

Early developing athletes often receive greater attention, training opportunities & specialised coaching, which can compound advantages over time. What about the late developers?👀

The data presented by Jack McCann will highlight the extent to which this occurs and demonstrates its impact on athlete development pathways. Practical, evidence-based strategies are also outlined to help mitigate these effects and promote more equitable development opportunities for all athletes 👊
