Another appreciation post, this time Thomas & Dingo performance engineering for getting Car 58 Wile-e Coyote back on the road.

Wile-e Crew can not thank these lads enough, knowing we broke down on the Variety Bash, without hesitation and as busy as they were, they were committed on getting Wile-e Coyote back on road for the trek back home.

If that wasn’t bloody awesome enough RMS performance engineering became one of our 2027 major sponsors ❤️

If you need any mechanical needs in the Mackay area call into these guys, highly recommend ❤️

When we talk to people about Variety, the fun to be had and the experiences along the way but camaraderie with your Bash family is truly amazing. With only two weeks from the Bash ending Wile-e has been recovered from a cattle station in Greenvale by two awesome blokes.

A massive shout out to Dirk & Tony from Team Jayden - Car 860 Chick Hicks for the two day operation of Wile-e recovery from Greenvale to Mackay dropping off to Thomas & Dingo at RMS Performance Engineering to work their magic. Certainly was testing moments but you delivered with a smile.

Thank you again Team Jayden - Car 860 Chick Hicks Dirk Neugebauer

After about 4 years we no longer doing our weekly raffles due to commitments elsewhere sadly. We have been honoured to have been supported by the Merrimac Tavern and patrons over the years. It’s businesses and people like these that help teams like ours fundraise for an amazing charity. We are handing the reins over the Tracey from Carbashians who will start 11th September, we wish them all well ❤️

We would also like to thank Gold Coast Gourmet Meats for amazing trays over the years.

Our very last raffle while we were on the bash, winners Bree, Cam, Renee & Jimmy. Thank you Maddie & Matt ❤️

2027 Variety Bash is Roma to Sunshine Coast via Airlie Beach. We will be signing up for our 6th year shortly, we welcome donations big or small and sponsors business or personal - we would love to hear from you ❤️

Day Ten

As we wake up in Biloela on our last Bash day morning we head to our final destination Gladstone stopping into Mt Larkin School. Aussie Rock got the Bashers blood pumping with morning choir ❤️ as we finish the Bash under the variety banner as honorary Aussie Ghost Busters we honoured and can not thank Aussie Ghost Busters (Tamstar & Sticky) for not only helping us trying to get Wile-e back on the road but adopting us for the rest of the Bash ❤️

Day Nine

Carnarvon Gorge to Biloela, firstly stopping at the C-47B Dakota Aircraft wreck. Then onto Arcadia School for a magnificent morning tea and homemade lemonade. Continued on to Rolleston School who hosted lunch. Rolling into Biloela for our last night on the Bash, we spent the evening at Hotel Settlers for dinner with one of Variety’s recipients in attendance. Highlight
…..running out of petrol at the service station 🤣

Day Eight

Tu tu Day
