Three precious plover eggs safely delivered into care by one of our wonderful spotter catchers 🥹🪶

🌞🐦 Finally, some sunshine!

After what feels like weeks of rain, the local kookaburras and magpies are reportedly delighted to see the sun make a proper appearance.

The kookaburras have resumed their morning committee meetings, sitting proudly on fence posts with their feathers fluffed and drying nicely. Meanwhile, the magpies are strutting around as though they personally arranged the weather forecast.

One magpie was overheard saying, “About time,” while a kookaburra responded with its usual uncontrollable laughter.

Here’s hoping all our feathered friends enjoy a well deserved dry out, a spot of sunbathing, and perhaps a worm or two that made the mistake of appearing after the rain.
