10 x SPORTS ADMINISTRATION TRAINEESHIPS
A great opportunity to get your foot in the door to a career in sports administration!
AQIA is seeking expressions of interest to undertake an entry-level PAID Sports Administration Traineeship. This traineeship will involve providing basic administration assistance to a sport and recreation organisation in the Brisbane area (various locations available).
What's in it for you?
• Earn while you learn and gain a Certificate I in Workplace Skills qualification.
• Obtain valuable on-the-job experience in a real workplace environment.
• Learn essential skills such as communication, teamwork, organisation, and problem solving.
• Learner support, on-the-job mentoring and help with job search, resume writing, interview techniques etc.
• 20-week paid traineeship, working 38 hours per week (hourly wage rate under the National Training Award).
What you need:
• Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in business
administration.
• A positive, hard-working attitude.
• Ready to start in late June 2026.
Who can apply?
• Must be a Queensland resident aged 16 years and older.
• Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, New Zealand citizen or eligible visa holder.
• Not previously completed a Certificate I in Workplace Skills.
• Not in stable employment.
• Not enrolled in TAFE, University or School.
• Meet other criteria under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
