Coast Acoustic Music Club Coast Acoustics Music Club is a not-for-profit community organisation sharing the live acoustic music experience on the Sunshine and Gold Coast, Queensland.

The Coast Acoustics Music Association is a not-for-profit community organisation sharing the live acoustic music experience of folk, bluegrass, blues and roots music on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, Qld. Come and enjoy performances and participate in open mics, jam sessions, concerts, workshops and festivals. Looking for a place to meet people who are into LIVE acoustic music? We get together every month. Come and join in a Jam Session (no mic) on the 2nd Saturday, 2:00-5:00 pm and Open Mic 4th Sunday (excluding Jan & Dec), 1:00-5:00 pm at Country Paradise Parklands, 231 Beaudesert Nerang Road Nerang, which is a beautiful all-weather country setting in the Gold Coast hinterland. Jams are also held on the 3rd Thursday night (6:30-8:30 pm) at the Elanora Community Centre, 26 Galleon Drive, Elanora, Qld. New - Sunshine Coast Jam, second Tuesday night 6:30-8:30 pm and fourth Saturday afternoon 2:00-5:00 pm, at the lovely old Valdora Community Hall. All ages, skill levels and acoustic instruments are WELCOME!

🔥🌭 BBQ LEGEND NEEDED FOR ONE AFTERNOON! 🎶🎸

Our next Coast Acoustics Open Mic is coming up on Sunday 27 September at the Nerang Rivershed, and we have one little gap in our volunteer crew that we’d love some help filling.

Our regular BBQ volunteer (Gunnar the grill master) isn't available this month, so we're looking for someone who might be able to step in and help with the BBQ setup, cooking and pack-up for the afternoon.

You don't need to sign your life away or become our permanent BBQ chef! 😄 We just need someone who can lend a hand for this event and help keep our hungry musicians fed.

Our Open Mics are run by volunteers, and it's people putting their hands up to help with these little jobs that allow us to keep these great community music afternoons going.

As we head towards our AGM on November 28th and start planning for 2027, now is the time to think about where you could lend a hand to help keep Coast Acoustics thriving.

Whether it’s helping at an open mic or jam, setting up or packing down, MCing, cooking the BBQ, sharing your skills, helping with camps, or even learning some new skills along the way, every contribution makes a difference.

🎶 BRIBIE ISLAND... THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! 🌴🎸

The Coast Acoustic Escape is getting close, and it’s time to get your tickets, pack the instrument and get ready for a fantastic weekend of music on Bribie Island, 25–27 September!
Coast Acoustics and the Bribie Jammers have put together a weekend for people who simply love making music.

🎸 Great workshops with experienced presenters
🎤 Open Mics with professional PA and sound technicians
🥁 Guitar, harmonica, cajon, rhythm, chords and more
🎶 Jams and plenty of opportunities to play together
🌴 A relaxed Bribie Island weekend with a great community of musos

You don't have to come for the whole weekend either. Day tickets are available, so come across for a day, join some workshops, have a jam and put your name down for the Open Mic.

Whether you're an experienced musician, still developing your skills, or just want to sit in, listen and learn, you are welcome.
