HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARADISE POINT PARK RUN 🥳

Thank you for letting us celebrate this special milestone with you. Today also happens to be international op shop day. To mark the occasion, park runners donated their sports gear to Make Ways Foundation. Everyone seemed very grateful to be giving their sportswear and runners a second life ♻️

Are you part of a park run and want to organise something similar? We’d love to help make it happen! DM us and we’ll be there!

An ode to the Make Ways Dinosaur :

O mighty beast of the aid station,
A prehistoric hydration sensation,
With wobbly limbs and a toothy grin,
You cheer on the weary as they stumble in.
You stand inflated, ten feet tall,
A scaly green guardian, beloved by all,
While runners approach with their faces of pain,
You unleash your sprinklers like tropical rain.
Psssh! goes the water, a glorious spray,
You baptise the runners halfway through their day.

Who else was lucky enough to meet our green make ways Dino at GC50 Run Festival ??

Happiest when sorting donations.
We thrive off giving your pre loved sports gear a second home. Providing low cost sports shoes, equipment & clothes to those who need it. Sharing the joy of movement with our community ♻️ 🥎 🥾 🏏

If you hate throwing out your beloved runners as much as we do.. we’re for you!

Yesterday our team hosted a sorting session with all our donations- runners, sportswear and equipment. Making sure the right donations go to the right place. Affordable sportswear to boost engagement in physical activity for our community 🥎

Our boxes for packing were donated by a local business. There’s really a way for everyone to contribute and we enjoy making these connections. Plus it has also given these boxes another life ♻️

The joy of organising!
