Thank you to district president Dennis Pollard for travelling from Wallangarra to attend the AGM meeting.

On a recent trip to Brisbane for the Edinburgh Tattoo, Philip and Gerry visited Anzac Square in the Brisbane CBD. As captured above, he has found the names/locations of Inglestone and Meandarra but could not find Glenmorgan. After a little searching online it look likes Teelba and possibly Coomrith are! Might be worth a look next time you find yourself in the city with some spare time!

Anzac Square in Brisbane features bronze memorial screens flanking the parkland, installed in 2019, which list 2,075 Queensland towns and suburbs where servicemen and women enlisted for World War I and II. These screens are part of a larger, recently updated memorial landscape that honours Queenslanders' service.
