Thank you to those residents who braved the cold and came along to our AGM on Tuesday night!

Jim Joliffe tendered his resignation as Hall President โ€“ and we thank Jim wholeheartedly for his time, efforts and commitment to the Hall; not only during his 12 years as President but also for his many yearsโ€™ service to the Hall prior to that.

Long-time Committee member, Trevor Jupp, has also stepped down after 50 years on our Committee. Both Trevor and his wife Heather have been instrumental in the upkeep and relevance of the Hall since their arrival in Glendon Brook all those years ago.

Glendon Brook Hall hosted our 2026 Trivia Night on Saturday 30th May with plenty of laughs and fun had by nearly 100 guests. Many local residents attended, as well as folks from surrounding rural areas, Singleton, Branxton, Vacy and Sydney.

$5,000 was raised on the night! ๐Ÿ’ฐ This will go towards the annual cost of insurance, fire safety equipment and inspections, pest control, electricity and general maintenance.

Local โ€˜personalityโ€™ Col Barnett had our ears for the night as MC and did a marvellous - and thoroughly entertaining - job! As did his wife Nat and daughter Charli helping Sue on the judges table. Punters enjoyed not only the testing trivia questions, but also had the chance to win some fantastic prizes in the Raffle, Lucky Door, Coin Toss, and the Limerick writing challenge.

๐Ÿ† Winning table for the night was THE GOOD EGGS with 77 points
๐Ÿฅˆ Next with 76 points was the 10 OPINIONS
๐Ÿฅ‰ Third place was a three-way draw between the RETURNING HOPEFULS, CRANKY CREW and MEGโ€™S MOB all with 74 pointsโ€ฆ and after a lengthy round of heads & tails, MEGโ€™S MOB took out third place.
๐Ÿฅ„ The unlucky Wooden Spoon title went to THE DUNNOS with 51ยฝ points

The DEVILS & ANGELS table won the Limerick challenge, as well as both Picture Rounds! ๐Ÿ‘
