Glendon Brook Hall hosted our 2026 Trivia Night on Saturday 30th May with plenty of laughs and fun had by nearly 100 guests. Many local residents attended, as well as folks from surrounding rural areas, Singleton, Branxton, Vacy and Sydney.
$5,000 was raised on the night! π° This will go towards the annual cost of insurance, fire safety equipment and inspections, pest control, electricity and general maintenance.
Local βpersonalityβ Col Barnett had our ears for the night as MC and did a marvellous - and thoroughly entertaining - job! As did his wife Nat and daughter Charli helping Sue on the judges table. Punters enjoyed not only the testing trivia questions, but also had the chance to win some fantastic prizes in the Raffle, Lucky Door, Coin Toss, and the Limerick writing challenge.
π Winning table for the night was THE GOOD EGGS with 77 points
π₯ Next with 76 points was the 10 OPINIONS
π₯ Third place was a three-way draw between the RETURNING HOPEFULS, CRANKY CREW and MEGβS MOB all with 74 pointsβ¦ and after a lengthy round of heads & tails, MEGβS MOB took out third place.
π₯ The unlucky Wooden Spoon title went to THE DUNNOS with 51Β½ points
The DEVILS & ANGELS table won the Limerick challenge, as well as both Picture Rounds! π
